Companies that inspired us

We’ve drawn inspiration from a variety of companies across different industries. These organizations have shaped the way we approach product development, customer experience, and how we think about building a company.

  • 37Signals, the company behind Basecamp and other products, has always stood out for its simplicity and focus. They’ve shown us the value of saying no to unnecessary features and sticking to what matters most. Their no-nonsense approach to product development aligns closely with our philosophy—creating solutions that solve real problems without the fluff.
  • Posthog’s commitment to open-source software and their transparency in how they operate has deeply influenced how we work at Euquista. Their handbook-style documentation and willingness to share internal processes and values openly with the world are things we admire. We believe in building in public and maintaining that same level of transparency in our own journey.
  • Buffer has built a reputation for its radical transparency, from sharing financials to discussing salaries and decision-making processes. While we don’t share financials just yet, we love Buffer’s openness and how they involve their team in shaping the company. Their approach to remote work has also inspired how we structure our team, emphasizing flexibility and trust.
  • Efteling, a Dutch theme park, has an admirable profit model: all of their profits go straight to their foundation. This unique structure is inspiring because it shows how a business can operate with a purpose beyond profit. Efteling’s approach has shaped how we think about the long-term impact of our work. Like Efteling, we believe that success can be reinvested into causes that make a difference.
  • Ikea has mastered the art of simplicity in design and execution. Their ability to create affordable, scalable solutions that work for millions of people across the globe is something we admire. Ikea shows that great design doesn’t have to be complicated, and that philosophy is embedded in how we approach building software—keeping it simple, scalable, and focused on real-world needs.
